Welcome to the SMAP Center
Established in 2001, the Systems Management and Production (SMAP) Center at UAH has grown to become the university’s largest research entity. The Center is committed to delivering high-quality support to the U.S. Army and other government clients at Redstone Arsenal and additional sites. Leveraging its broad expertise—ranging from digital engineering, visualization, and cybersecurity to software development and directed energy—the SMAP Center strives to deliver rapid, cost-effective solutions. Moreover, it established and manages the SWAP Program, which provides students in STEM fields with valuable hands-on experience and educational opportunities.
